On 11 September 2026, the eve of its double anniversary, the PPM-Confirel Group inaugurated a new venue for living and tasting in the heart of Phnom Penh: the Confirel showroom, paired with the Thnot Café & Pizza Prahok concept — two brands that embody the Group’s desire to bring Cambodian and foreign consumers closer to the riches of the Khmer land.
Held under the high patronage of H.E. Dr Thonn Vathana, Second Vice-President of the Senate, and of Dr Hay Ly Eang, the event unfolded in two parts. First, a Buddhist religious ceremony was held inside the showroom, followed by a reception at the Penh House Hotel in the late afternoon, bringing together partners, dignitaries, distributors and guests — including those from French-speaking Africa — on the eve of the Group’s double anniversary.
The showroom, initially located at No. 57, Street 178, Sangkat Chey Chumneas, Khan Daun Penh, has been designed as a true showcase for Confirel products — thnot palm sugar, Kampot pepper, spices, wellness products, KEM probiotics — in a space intended for discovery, tasting and meetings with the producers behind each product line.
Thnot Café and Pizza Prahok: Khmer Cuisine Reimagined
Located alongside the showroom, the two brands Thnot Café and Pizza Prahok offer a contemporary reading of Cambodia’s culinary heritage. Thnot Café showcases the many uses of the sugar palm — from thnot syrup to organic powdered sugar, along with milky preparations and desserts — while Pizza Prahok takes a bold gamble: pairing pizza dough with one of the most emblematic condiments of Khmer cuisine, prahok, a fermented fish paste with an assertive character. A playful, indulgent way of putting Cambodian cuisine into dialogue with the codes of international dining, and of bringing the flavours of the land into a lively urban setting.
